The tour begins with a drive to the Hoover Dam for a brief photo stop. Bring
your camera for pictures of the Dam, Lake Mead and Colorado River. Travel past
Fortification Hill (built to protect the dam during World War II), habitat for
Big Horn Sheep, Black Canyon. Learn about Pioneer-Indian wars, Spanish
Conquistadors, Missionaries, Mountain Men, and Explorers/Settlers. Our next
stop is in Kingman, Arizona for a stretch break, then on to Williams Arizona,
home of Historic Route 66. Next stop is the Grand Canyon National Park where
you'll board your Helicopter and fly over the widest and deepest part of the
canyon, over the "Red River" (Colorado River). The spectacular views of this
incredible Natural Wonder will be the thrill of a lifetime! You will re-join
the tour at Bright Angel lodge. Browse gift shops and the Fred Harvey Museum.
Then you'll return to Las Vegas with a stretch break in Kingman.
